Starting today, inter-state movement of goods worth Rs 50,000 will need generation of e-way bills. The move is expected to plug loopholes and boost revenue. After the portal that was to generate the electronic invoices crashed on Feb. 1- the earlier date for implementation - the generation of such invoices was deferred.
