  • NoBroker reduced losses by 25-30% to around Rs 300 crore in 2024-25

Bengaluru-based proptech unicorn NoBroker.com has crossed Rs 1,000 crore in revenue in the last fiscal year and is targeting profitability within the next eight to 10 months.

In an interview with PTI, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Amit Kumar Agarwal said the company has made steady progress towards profitability as revenue grows and costs are optimised. The final revenue figure is still being audited.

NoBroker's revenue had increased to Rs 965 crore in 2024-25 from Rs 888 crore in the previous fiscal year. The growth helped the company reduce its losses by 25-30% to around Rs 300 crore.

Agarwal said profitability is now the company's main priority. NoBroker is not currently planning to raise fresh funds from existing investors or launch an initial public offering. The company may consider an IPO after it becomes profitable.

Founded in 2013, NoBroker operates a zero-brokerage property platform for renting, buying and selling homes. About 50% of its revenue comes from this core business. Customers can purchase paid plans for better leads.

The other half comes from businesses such as movers & packers, home interiors, home services and NoBrokerHood, its housing society management platform.

NoBroker operates in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and the National Capital Region. NoBrokerHood operates across 11 cities and serves more than 25,000 societies and 48 lakh families.

The company became a unicorn in November 2021 after raising $210 million from investors including General Atlantic and Tiger Global at a $1 billion valuation. It was the first proptech unicorn. NoBroker has raised $361 million so far.

The company was founded by Akhil Gupta, Amit Kumar Agarwal and Saurabh Garg, who studied at IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur and IIM Ahmedabad.
