Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has suspended several employees pending an internal enquiry following serious allegations of sexual harassment at its Nashik office. The IT firm initiated immediate disciplinary action upon learning of the matter, reaffirming its strict stance against workplace misconduct.
The corporate response follows formal complaints made by tech employees in Nashik. In connection with the allegations, local law enforcement has arrested six individuals, including a team lead, from the multinational company's office.

Emphasising its commitment to a secure working environment, TCS highlighted the priority it places on staff welfare and safety.
"TCS has a long-standing zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and coercion of any form," a company spokesperson stated. "We have always ensured the highest standards of safety and wellbeing of our employees at the workplace."
Addressing the prompt intervention, the spokesperson detailed the immediate steps taken by the firm's management regarding the accused personnel.
"As soon as we were made aware of the matter in Nashik, we took swift action. The employees being investigated have been suspended pending enquiry."
The technology giant confirmed it is fully supporting the ongoing police probe into the arrested individuals. Moving forward, the company's final disciplinary decisions will be guided by the official findings.
"We are cooperating with the local law enforcement authorities, and any further action will be based on the conclusion of this investigation," the spokesperson concluded.
