Renault launches Fluence facelift at Auto Expo

Renault today rolled out the updated Fluence at Rs 14.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It's basically a mid-life facelift of the car and therefore has mainly received cosmetic updates. No changes have been made under the hood.

The Fluence has a 2.0-litre petrol mill and a 1.5-litre K9K turbocharged diesel mill; capable of churning out a maximum power output of 137PS, 190Nm and 110PS and 240Nm, respectively. In addition, a buyer has an option to buy this car with a 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel mill that belts out an impressive 132PS, while yielding 320Nm of peak torque.

Though the car looks identical to its predecessor, the new bumper, revised front grille, new alloys and daytime running LEDs, give it a sporty character. In terms of equipment, the car now gets a new infotainment system with Sat-Nav (satelite navigation), R-link infotainment system and new instrument cluster that now has analog and digital displays.

Renault also unveiled the Renault KWID concept at the event.
