Premier Energies Subsidiaries Get Orders Totaling Rs 1,460 Crore

The end-to-end solar power solutions provider said that the supply of these modules is scheduled to commence from May 2025.

Premier Energies Ltd. said on Tuesday that its affiliates have received orders totaling Rs 1,460 crore from two large independent power producers and others.

According to the exchange filing, its subsidiaries Premier Energies Global Environment Pvt., Premier Energies International Pvt. and Premier Energies Photovoltaic Pvt. had received the orders aggregating to Rs 1,460 crore. These orders include solar modules of Rs 1,041 crore and solar cells worth Rs 419 crore, the filing added.

The end-to-end solar power solutions provider said that the supply of these modules is scheduled to commence from May 2025.

Earlier, in November 2024, the solar module maker had intimated via exchange filings that its subsidiaries had received and accepted multiple orders aggregating to Rs 1,087 crore from two large independent power producers and one other customer. These orders included Rs 964 crore for solar modules and Rs 123 crore for solar cells.

For the second quarter of financial year 2024-25, Premiere Energies had reported a 290% jump in net profit up 290% at Rs 206 crore compared to Rs 52.8 crore that it had posted in the previous fiscal's similar period.

Revenue of the integrated solar photovoltaic cell and module manufacturer grew to Rs 1,527 crore for the quarter under review, against Rs 694 crore in Q2 FY24.

In second quarter of FY25, the company's Ebitda stood at Rs 381 crore versus Rs 98.4 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter.

Shares of Premier Energies closed 1.74% higher at Rs 1,115.40 apiece on the BSE, compared to a 0.22% advance in the benchmark Sensex.
