Petrol, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged across the four metro cities on Saturday, July 3, according to data by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). In the national capital, petrol prices remained unchanged today after being hiked by 35 paise on Friday to Rs 99.16 per litre, while diesel is retailed at Rs 89.18 per litre. In Mumbai - where fuel prices are currently the highest among all four metros, petrol is being sold at Rs 105.24 per litre, while diesel is priced at Rs 96.72 per litre.

The state-run oil marketing companies - Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil, and Hindustan Petroleum align the rates of domestic fuel with that of the global crude oil prices by taking into account any changes in the foreign exchange rates. Any changes in fuel prices are implemented with effect from 6 am every day.
Meanwhile, on Friday, July 2, brent crude futures, the global oil benchmark, fell 0.14 per cent to $ 75.73 per barrel. The rupee declined for the fourth straight session yesterday and touched an all-time low of 74.87 against the dollar during the session. The local unit settled 19 paise lower to 74.74 against the greenback, amid rising crude oil prices which weighed on investor sentiment.
