Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Ltd., through its joint venture companies L&T-MHPS Boilers Private Ltd. (LMB) and L&T-MHPS Turbine Generators Private Ltd. (LMTG), won $71.3 million worth of export orders from Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) Ltd., the company said in a BSE filing.
The LMB contract includes the supply of pressure parts for MHPS' power plant in Indonesia. LMTG will supply turbines for the same power plant.
This contract takes LMGT's tally of export orders to 22, according to L&T's press release while LMB's total export projects stand at 17 units.
Following the announcement, the L&T stock rose 0.24 percent to Rs 1,569 on the BSE, at 10:30 am.
