Tata Motor's subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said it delivered its best ever June performance, selling 46,456 vehicles globally.
Sales increased 17 percent, driven by an 84 percent rise in sales of Jaguar vehicles, according to Tata Motors' media release. Land Rover sales improved 3 percent.
JLR posted a 44 percent increase in sales in North America, and a 19 percent growth in China.
In the first half of the year, the luxury automaker's sales increased 22 percent compared to the same period last year.
