It is India's first luxury train which. The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC), has appointed Cox & Kings Ltd (CKL), as its outsourced partner to operate the luxury train, Deccan Odyssey from October 2014. According to Indian Railways, Deccan Odyssey trains aim to be a complete 5-star hotel on wheels, with restaurants, bar, sauna, health spa and other amenities on board.
