Investors Pull Money From World's Biggest ETF for EM Equities

(Bloomberg) -- Investors in the world's biggest exchange-traded fund for emerging stocks are getting bearish.

They've pulled out money for the last three days from the $68 billion Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF, taking net withdrawals for March to $650 million. That's the most for any month since September 2015.

That mirrors the performance of MSCI's Emerging Market Index of equities, which is down 2.3 percent in March. That's pared its gains this year to 0.8 percent and put in on course for its weakest quarter since the last three months of 2016.
