India's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp Ltd. has set a new benchmark in the two-wheeler industry, riding on the robust demand for its range of vehicles.
The two-wheeler maker has crossed the ‘seven lakh sales mark' in a month, by dispatching 720,739 units of its Hero portfolio of motorcycles and scooters in September. The company had sold 6.74 lakh units in the corresponding period last year, it said in an exchange filing.
The company recently surpassed the record 75 million cumulative two-wheeler sales that it has clocked since its inception, and sold over a million vehicles in the festive season so far.
