The first chapter of Half Girlfriend was also teased on Mr Bhagat's website and Facebook on Tuesday. He put it up on the social networking site after his site crashed.

Half Girlfriend is due to be released mid-October this year, according to e-commerce retailer Flipkart. The book is exlusively available on Flipkart and can be pre-booked at a discounted price of Rs 149. Flipkart is offering a 15 per cent discount on the maximum retail price (MRP) of Rs 176.
The 280-page book is being published by Rupa Publication India.
