Billionaire Gautam Adani on Monday applauded Adani Cement Ltd. for achieving 100 million tonnes capacity and being an efficient manufacturer.
"100 million tonnes capacity established at a world-record pace! Adani Cement is now one of the most efficient cement manufacturers on the planet," Adani said in a post on social media platform X.
"It is a reflection of our unwavering belief in India's growth story, and the strength of a set of trusted brands built over decades. Brands that have stood by India through every turn and, now, are building for its future," he added.

Adani Cements, a division of the Adani Group, is the second-largest cement manufacturer in India. This includes the publicly listed companies Ambuja Cements Ltd. and ACC Ltd., along with Gujarat-based Sanghi Industries Ltd. Adani entered the cement sector in 2022 after acquiring Ambuja Cements and ACC from Holcim.
Adani Cements aims to increase its capacity to 140 MTPA by the financial year 2028, including brownfield expansions of existing facilities and acquisitions like Sanghi Cement and Penna Cement.
