Sales of the truck maker increased 3 percent year-on-year to 12,914 units last month, it said in an exchange filing.
Medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales declined for the first time in four months, falling 5 percent year-on-year, while volumes of light commercial vehicles rose 29 percent during the period.
Shares of the Chennai-based firm snapped its three-day gaining streak and closed 3.40 percent lower at Rs 126 apiece today. The stock has given a return of 64.54 percent so far this year, against a 26.10 percent gain in the S&P BSE Auto Index.
