Hyderabad: As many as 5.27 lakh basic savings bank deposit accounts have been opened in Andhra Bank branches across the country as a part of the 'Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan' financial inclusion scheme.
"All our 2,147 branches have organised camps. Kits containing passbook, Ru-Pay card and Financial Literacy Material were handed over on August 28 for the Basic Savings Bank Deposit account holders," the lender said in a release in Hyderabad.
"In all, at Andhra Bank 5.27 lakh Basic Savings Bank Deposit accounts opened across the Country."
