In a significant development, Amul has entered the elite league of Indian companies with annual revenues exceeding Rs 1 lakh crore, joining industry giants such as Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank, NTPC and HCL Technologies.

Amul has become the first fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company in India to cross the Rs 1 lakh crore turnover mark in fiscal 2026, marking a major milestone not just for the brand but also for India's consumer and dairy sector. The company reported an 11% year-on-year growth over fiscal 2025, driven by strong demand and deep distribution across urban, semi-urban and rural markets.

Reliance Industries topped the chart as it reported sales of Rs 9.63 lakh crore in fiscal 2025 with a market cap of Rs 17.65 lakh crore, while ONGC reported Rs 6.12 lakh crore and State Bank of India reported Rs 4.91 lakh crore in revenue. According to data from Screener, Tata Motors PV was fourth with sales of Rs 4.40 lakh followed by HDFC Bank that had posted sales of Rs 3.36 lakh crore. L&T in fiscal 2025 had a market cap of Rs 5.1 lakh crore with sales of Rs 2.56 lakh crore.

Among IT companies, TCS reported sales of Rs 2.55 lakh crore, while HCL Technologies reported Rs 1.17 lakh crore. In the power sector, NTPC reported revenue of Rs 1.88 lakh crore.

Hindalco Industries had a reported sales of Rs 2.38 lakh crore and Tata Steel had posted a turnover of Rs 2.19 lakh crore.

Among the others in the list are Bharti Airtel, JSW Steel, Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Grasim Industries, Coal India and Bajaj Finserv. The other notable names include Axis Bank and SBI Life Insurance.
