(Bloomberg) -- British private equity firm 3i Group Plc is exploring options including a sale of medical-supplies distributor OneMed Group that may fetch as much as 500 million euros ($555 million), according to people with knowledge of the matter.

3i is working with advisers at Jefferies Group on the sale process, which has attracted interest from other companies in the medical industry as well as private equity firms, such as CVC Capital Partners, the people said, asking not to be identified because the deliberations are private. The sale of the Swedish company may fetch 400 million euros to 500 million euros, the people said.

Representatives for 3i, Jefferies and CVC declined to comment.

OneMed supplies health-care providers in Europe with medical supplies, and has annual sales of 400 million euros, according to its website. 3i led the buyout of OneMed in December 2010, then acquired Bosman in 2015 to give the firm access to the Dutch market.
