Gold Price Near Rs 1,24,600 Levels

Gold prices in India stood at Rs 1,24,590 on Tuesday as the longest government shutdown in US history nears end.

The metal held gains after recording its biggest daily jump since May, trading around $4,140 an ounce. Gold remains on course for its strongest annual gain since 1979, having reached a series of record highs before retreating last month. US rate cuts have underpinned prices, which have also been buoyed by inflows into bullion-backed exchange-traded funds and sustained central bank buying.

Pre-Market Experts' View: Buying On Dips Likely To Take Place

"The Nifty is trading within a broad rising channel, holding firm above its key support zone at 25,500–25,550. A sustained breakout above 25,700–25,820 could trigger fresh momentum toward 26,000, while a slip below 25,500 may prompt a retest of 25,300–25,150. Overall, as long as the index holds above the lower channel base, the broader market structure remains constructive, with dips likely to attract renewed buying interest."
Ponmudi R, CEO, Enrich Money
"We expect markets to remain range-bound tracking global cues, while optimism around better than expected corporate earnings and any progress in India–U.S. trade talks could provide upside support."

‘I’m Going Quiet’: Warren Buffett’s Farewell Letter To Shareholders As CEO

After nearly six decades at the helm, Buffett will no longer pen the famed annual letter that has accompanied the company’s report since 1965. His successor, Greg Abel, will take over as CEO and continue the tradition of writing to shareholders. However, Buffett said he will still send his personal Thanksgiving message each year to his children and shareholders.
