Samsung is all geared up to showcase its latest devices and fresh foldable lineup at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York on July 9. All eyes are on the South Korean consumer electronics giant as it’s expected to come up with many new launches, including new foldable phones, watches and possibly the triple-folding Galaxy Z Fold smartphone.
Ahead of the July 9 event, reports suggest that Samsung may unveil the triple-folding Galaxy Z Fold smartphone along with its Watch 8 series. While it will not be immediately available for purchase, Samsung expects to keep fans hooked on the details of this device for the months to come.
At the upcoming event, the main highlight is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones. The upgraded foldable lineup from Samsung, these devices will showcase how the brand aims to redesign the future of foldable smartphones.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are expected to debut with slimmer designs. The Fold 7 is set to be Samsung’s thinnest book-style foldable yet, measuring 8.9mm folded and 4.2mm unfolded, according to a report by Sammobile.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 may also feature a powerful 200 MP main camera, a first for the series. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to have a larger four-inch cover display and a 4,300 mAh battery. The device is likely to run on Samsung’s new Exynos 2500 chip.
According to a report by Sammobile, Samsung plans to launch a more affordable foldable phone called the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. It is said to feature the Exynos 2400 chip. Further details about this model have not yet been revealed.
Galaxy Watch 8 Series
At tomorrow’s event, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Watch 8 series, featuring both the Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic. The Classic model is expected to bring back the physical rotating bezel and use the squircle design seen on last year’s Watch Ultra.
For enhanced functionality, it is also expected to feature the Ultra’s action button. Samsung’s new watches may have few upgrades but will likely use the Exynos W1000 chip from previous models.
