OnePlus OxygenOS 16 update is coming to India in October, and many of OnePlus’ devices will soon get it. A blog post on the OnePlus Community forum confirmed that the OnePlus OxygenOS 16 update will be available in India starting Oct. 16.
The post also confirmed a number of OnePlus smartphones that might be in line to receive the Android 16-powered update. While the company hasn’t revealed many details about what features to expect from the new user interface or which smartphones will get it first, OnePlus OxygenOS 16 is expected to pack a new set of AI features.

While the OxygenOS 16 update will roll out starting Oct. 16, not all devices will immediately get it. The update will likely be staggered as per smartphone models and locations. Newer devices are expected to get the update first.

OnePlus OxygenOS 16: Expected Updates
The OnePlus OxygenOS 16 update will likely include some new AI features. Gemini is expected to be integrated into its “Plus Mind,” enabling the AI assistant to retrieve screenshots from the app to respond to various queries.
Leaks have also suggested that OnePlus would include lock-screen widgets in the upcoming update. There might be refreshed icons, slicker animations, and some adjustments to the settings and notification panels.
