Google Pixel 10 series is scheduled for launch on Aug. 21 in India. Ahead of the grand roll-out, numerous leaks have surfaced revealing details about the devices' hardware, such as the processor, design, cameras, and colour options.

Information has also surfaced about software enhancements, especially AI-driven features that will enhance the camera experience across the Pixel 10 lineup.

We have put together a round-up of the most talked-about leaks and speculations surrounding the upcoming launch. Here’s a closer look at what’s been revealed so far.

Pixel 10 Series: Expected Design

When it comes to appearance, Google doesn’t seem to be making sweeping changes this year. The Pixel 9 series, introduced last year, brought in a refreshed look with flat edges, a flat display, and a camera bar that gave the impression of floating across the back.

The upcoming models are likely to carry forward this aesthetic. The Pixel 10 Pro is expected to mirror the design of last year’s version, while the regular Pixel 10 may sport slight adjustments,  most notably to the camera housing, as reports suggest it could feature a triple-lens setup for the first time.

Google is likely to refresh the colours for its latest lineup. The Pixel 10 Pro could debut in striking new shades such as Moonstone and Jade. The standard Pixel 10 may arrive in an all-new Indigo finish, adding a touch of freshness to the range.

Pixel 10 Series: Expected Chipset

On the hardware front, the Pixel 10 range is likely to be powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 processor, a 3nm chip built by TSMC. It is expected to replace last year’s Samsung-made Tensor G4 that drove the Pixel 9 series and the recent Pixel 9a. The switch is expected to deliver noticeable improvements in both speed and power management.

In terms of memory, the standard Pixel 10 is tipped to retain 12GB RAM, while the Pro variants could once again carry 16GB, matching last year’s configuration.

Pixel 10 Series: Expected Camera Specifications

The standard Pixel 10 is tipped to gain a triple-lens rear camera for the first time. Until now, Google has limited this setup to its Pro models across the Pixel 6 to Pixel 9 generations. That said, early leaks hint that the main sensor could be a step down in size compared to the Pixel 9’s, paired with an 11 MP 5x telephoto lens and a 13 MP ultra-wide shooter.

The Pro variants are expected to stick with the same arrangement as before: a 50 MP primary wide sensor, a 48 MP ultra-wide, and a 48 MP 5x telephoto camera.

Pixel 10 Series: Expected AI Features

On the software side, leaks indicate that the upcoming Pixel lineup could see a host of AI-powered upgrades, with a particular emphasis on photography. One of the rumoured additions is a ‘Camera Coach’, designed to guide users towards capturing better shots by offering tips on aspects such as framing, lighting and other key elements.
