Karisma Kapoor’s children on Tuesday moved Delhi High Court for share in late father Sunjay Kapur's Rs 30,000 crore assets. The former chairperson of Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. died in London on June 12, with the cause of death reported as heart attack.

In the latest twist to the ongoing feud over Kapur's estate, the siblings have accused stepmother Priya Kapur of forging Sunjay's will and trying to gain total control of assets, as per a Bar and Bench report.

Karishma and Sunjay were married in 2003 and the couple had two kids. Their daughter Samaira, was born in 2005, while their son, Kiaan Raj Kapur, was born in 2010. They filed for divorce through mutual consent in 2014, and it was granted by the court in 2016.

After the divorce, Sunjay married actress and model Priya Sachdev in 2017. He is survived by two children from his second marriage, as well as siblings Mandira Kapur and Superna Motwane.

The family dispute followed Kapur's death. On July 25, Rani Kapur wrote to the board of Sona BLW Precision Forgings, also known as Sona Comstar, seeking a deferment of the company's Annual General Meeting, alleging coercion, misuse of documents, and attempts to usurp the family’s legacy following Sunjay Kapur’s death.

In response, Sona BLW said that Rani Kapur is neither a shareholder nor an official of the company, and therefore has no legal standing to influence corporate decisions. “Her consent is not required for running the business,” the company said in a statement.
