GST Boost: Mercedes-Benz India will pass on the entire benefit of the GST rate reduction directly to the end customers. After the goods and services tax (GST) Council agreed to implement the two tax slab proposal, the now-revised GST on all Mercedes-Benz cars (except electric vehicles) will stand at 40%, starting from Sept 22, 2025. EVs will continue to attract a 5% GST.
According to the official statement by Mercedes-Benz India on Saturday, Sept. 6, "Mercedes-Benz India will be passing on the entire benefit of the GST reduction directly to the end customers. Revised GST on all Mercedes-Benz cars (except EVs) will now stand at 40% (w.e.f. Sept 22, 2025)."
With the new rates, Mercedes-Benz India cars are all set to get cheaper by Rs 3 lakh to Rs 11 lakh depending upon the model. The GST Council, chaired by the finance minister, accepted the Centre's proposal to tax small cars at a GST of 18%, while bigger cars will attract a 40% GST rate.

Mercedez Benz India cars to get cheaper: Check new rates
Here's the full list of revised prices for Mercedes-Benz India, starting from Sept. 22. The revised prices are based on ex-showroom PAN India price:
C300 AMG Line will get cheaper by around Rs 4.5 lakh, to cost Rs 64.30 lakh instead of Rs 68 lakh
GLA 220d 4matic AMG Line will get cheaper by around Rs 4.20 lakh, to cost Rs 52.70 lakh instead of Rs 56.50 lakh
GLE 450 4MATIC will get cheaper by around Rs 8 lakh, to cost Rs 1.07 crore instead of Rs 1.15 crore
GLE 300 4MATIC AMG Line will get cheaper by around Rs 5 lakh, to cost Rs 73.95 lakh instead of Rs 79.25 lakh
S 450 4MATIC will get cheaper by around Rs 11 lakh, to cost Rs 1.88 crore instead of Rs 1.99 crore
A200 D will get cheaper by around Rs 3 lakh, to cost Rs 45.95 lakh instead of Rs 48.55 lakh
GLS 450d AMG Line will get cheaper by around Rs 10 lakh, to cost Rs 1.34 crore instead of Rs 1.44 crore
E Class LWB 450 will get cheaper by Rs 6 lakh, to cost Rs 91 lakh instead of Rs 97 lakh.
