Vivo T4R And Samsung Galaxy F36 Comparison: Which Is Better?

The Vivo T4R, dubbed “India’s slimmest phone with a quad curved display”, has just launched. It is the latest model in Vivo’s budget-friendly mid-range smartphone range in India, and goes head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy F36.

The Vivo T4R is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, while the Galaxy F36 runs on the Exynos 1380 chipset. The former offers a more powerful CPU and better speed and performance for gaming and connectivity.

The Vivo T4R features a 6.77-inch quad-curved Amoled display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,800 nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The Galaxy F36 has a 6.7-inch Super Amoled display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits max brightness.

The battery in the Vivo T4R (5700mAh) is bigger than the Galaxy F36’s (5,000mAh).

The Vivo T4R is leaner and lighter (7.39 mm and 183.5 gm) than the Galaxy F36 (7.7 mm and 197 gm).

The Vivo T4R comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust protection, along with Diamond Shield Glass Protection for the display. The Galaxy F36 features a premium Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. 

The Vivo T4R is priced at Rs 17,499 for the 8GB + 128GB version, Rs 19,499 for 8GB + 256GB, and Rs 21,499 for 12GB + 256GB. The Galaxy F36 comes with a lesser RAM (6GB RAM +128GB) for the same Rs 17,499 price tag, while its 8GB + 256GB models is slightly cheaper at Rs 18,999.

The Vivo T4R has an edge when it comes to performance, RAM, battery, and sleek profile, while the Samsung Galaxy F36 has a superior camera set. It all boils down to what you want in your smartphone.
