In 2025’s slim phone showdown—where big names like Apple and Samsung will face off in the sleek smartphone space—one of the first devices to leave users in awe with its design and portability will be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.

With just days away from the launch, here’s everything you should know about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.

As confirmed by Samsung in a blog post, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be formally launched as part of a virtual Unpacked event on Monday, May 12, at 8 PM ET (5:30 AM on May 13 in India).

The Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to weigh in at just 163 g and have a thickness of just 5.85 mm, which speaks volumes of its thinness. It might be the thinnest Galaxy S model ever released.

The sleek device will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It will ship with Samsung’s custom One UI 7 skin, which is based on Android 15. 

The phone could pack a 6.7-inch (1,440 x 3,120 pixel) AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 120Hz, plus an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen. A 3,900 mAh battery will power the phone.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to have a dual rear camera set comprising a 200 MP primary shooter (confirmed by Samsung) with an f/1.7 aperture and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The front selfie camera will likely be 12 MP with an f/2.2 aperture.

It will reportedly come reinforced with a titanium frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 at the back and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on top of the display. For dust and water protection, an IP68 designation is anticipated. Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 will be among its expected connectivity features.

Titanium IcyBlue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Jetblack will be the three colours the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be available.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge may be priced around Rs 1,10,000 in India. As per earlier leaks, its 256GB model is expected to cost EUR 1,249, while the 512GB variant could cost EUR 1,369. Its rumoured pricing in the US is around $999.
