Oppo is gearing up for a major product launch in April, with the Oppo Find X8S, which is expected to debut alongside the Find X8 Ultra. According to reports, the Oppo Find X8S will feature a compact 6.31-inch display.

Before of the official unveiling, Oppo’s Find series product manager, Zhou Yibao, shared an image comparing the Find X8S with the iPhone 16 Pro Max. In the Oppo vs Apple face-off, the ultra-slim bezels of the upcoming Oppo flagship appear to be thinner.

Zhou credits this achievement to Oppo’s proprietary “chip-level screen packaging” technology, which has allowed the brand to push the limits of bezel reduction. While the exact measurements are not known, the teaser hints that the Oppo Find X8S will set a new standard for display design.

Leaks suggest that the Oppo Find X8S will sport a 6.31-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring bright visuals and smooth scrolling. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s yet-to-be-announced Dimensity 9400+ chipset.

Battery life won’t be a concern either, as the Find X8S is rumoured to pack a 5,700mAh battery, with support for 50W magnetic wireless charging and 80W wired fast charging.

On the camera front, reports indicate that the phone will feature a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

Beyond its sleek bezels, the Find X8S is expected to introduce several premium features, including an Action Button-style hardware key, a lightweight design and IP68/69 certification for water and dust resistance.

With Oppo set to make an official announcement soon, more details about the Find X8S will likely emerge in the coming days.
