Billionaire Gautam Adani pledged support for the development of Uttar Pradesh during his visit to Prayagraj to participate in the Maha Kumbh festival on Tuesday.
"Uttar Pradesh has immense possibilities of development; there are many opportunities. Adani Group is ready to contribute to the development of Uttar Pradesh as much as possible," Gautam Adani said in a statement to the press.
Adani and his wife Preeti participated in the Bhandara Seva organised at the ISKCON pandal during his visit to Prayagraj.

The Adani Group collaborated with ISKCON to provide food to the people coming to Maha Kumbh, in which food is served to lakhs of devotees every day. Gautam Adani, along with his wife, Preeti Adani, distributed Mahaprasad among the devotees.
Adani also visited the kitchen of Adani Group, which is being run in collaboration with ISKCON, where Mahaprasad was being prepared daily for devotees.
Mahaprasad is prepared in the ISKCON Mahaprasad Seva Kitchen built in Sector 19 of Prayagraj. Food such as roti, rice, dal, vegetables, halwa, and puri were prepared. Gautam Adani also helped in preparing Mahaprasad on Tuesday.

Adani said after the puja that he had a wonderful experience coming to Maha Kumbh. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for their efforts in arranging the Maha Kumbh.
On being questioned as to what he would take back from Maha Kumbh, he said, "For me, nothing is greater than the blessings of Maa Ganga."
