JEE Main 2025 Session 2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conduct the second session of JEE Main 2025 from Apr. 2 to Apr. 9. The agency has released the admit cards for the exams between Apr. 2 and Apr. 4. The admit cards for other dates are expected soon.
According to the schedule, the BTech and BE papers will take place on Apr. 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8, while the BArch and BPlanning papers (Paper 2A and Paper 2B) will be held on Apr. 9.
The annual key exams are conducted by the exam body for admissions into undergraduate engineering programs across IITs, IIITs and NITs in India.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
Releasing the details of the exam, the NTA has advised students on their conduct during the exam period. In a detailed press release, the agency said that the students should arrive at their designated centres at least two hours in advance. This will ensure that the biometric verification process is completed without any interruptions.
The candidates have also been advised to adhere to the dress code, exam instructions and other details as well. The rules also mandate that the candidates will need to carry the same photo ID to the centre which they uploaded on the digital application form. The same ID would reflect in their admit cards too.
Steps To Download JEE Main 2025 Admit Card
Step 1: Visit the official site - jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, the session 2 admit card download link will appear
Step 3: Click on the link and enter your application number and date of birth
Step 4: Submit and get your admit card of JEE Main
Step 5: Download the page and print a hard copy

Other Important Instructions For Candidates
Reporting Time: The NTA has advised candidates to report two hours before the exam time at their centres.
Seating Arrangement: Candidates must occupy their assigned seats immediately after the exam hall opens.
Responsibility: The NTA will not be responsible for delays in reaching the exam centre. The candidates will be responsible for ensuring their arrival at the centre while factoring aspects such as traffic, etc.
Exam Centre Protocol
All the candidates will need to bring their printed admit card to the exam centre. The NTA said that candidates without valid admit cards will be barred from entering the exam hall. They must also carry their authorised photo ID cards.
Candidates are only supposed to sit at their designated seats. Changing seats in the exam hall may lead to disqualification from the exam.
What’s Not Allowed In The Exam Hall?
Items not allowed in the examination hall include stationery like geometry boxes, pencil boxes, and printed or written materials. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and earphones are prohibited. Personal items like handbags, purses, and metallic objects, as well as food and beverages, are also banned.
Candidates must bring a valid, original, and non-expired photo ID, such as a school ID card, PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar card (with photograph), e-Aadhaar, ration card, class 12 board admit card, or bank passbook. Additionally, a simple transparent ballpoint pen is required.
