Launched! Xiaomi 15 Price, Camera, Storage, Battery, Display, And More

Xiaomi 15 smartphone has been launched today and it will be available for early access on March 18, according to the company. The highlight of the smartphone is the camera. Xiaomi revealed it has partnered with Leica, a German camera company, for the smartphone's camera and announced that it intends to "change the way the experts interact with cameras on smartphones". Notably, this Xiaomi smartphone series also has a Xiaomi 15 Ultra variant, which too was launched today, that comes with a 'Legend Edition' photography kit on pre-order.

The Xiaomi 15 was first announced by the Chinese smartphone corporation at the Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and runs on its proprietary Xiaomi HyperOS 2 operating system.

Early access pre-booking will start from March 18 which will give users a 'Xiaomi Care Plan' to insure against accidental and liquid damage. It will be available for purchase on April 3.

The Xiaomi 15 comes in black, white and green colours.

Xiaomi 15 price starts at Rs 64000, according to the company. The smartphone will have 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. It sports a triple camera setup from Leica triple-camera system, led by a 50MP Leica Summilux main camera with an ƒ/1.62 aperture and Light Hunter Fusion 900 sensor. Its focal lengths go from14mm to 120mm.

Xiaomi 15 comes with a 'fast shot' mode that can take a photograph within 0.6 seconds and a floating telephoto camera for close-up photography.

The smartphone has a proprietary 'Xiaomi Surge Battery Management' system and 5240mAh battery capacity, with 90W HyperCharge (charger included) and 50W wireless charging speed.

Xiaomi 15 has a 6.36-inch CrystalRes Dynamic 1-120Hz AMOLED display and screen-to-body ratio of 94%. It also has 8K video recording at 30 frames per second and Dolby Vision 4K 60 fps recording format.
