visionOS 2.4 Brings Apple Intelligence, New Spatial Gallery To Vision Pro; Check Features And Updates

Apple has brought the first set of Apple Intelligence capabilities on Apple Vision Pro with the release of visionOS 2.4.

visionOS 2.4 now offers enhanced spatial content covering art, culture, sports, nature and more with the new Spatial Gallery app, and the Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone makes it easier for users to discover new apps and content. Additionally, improvements to Guest User make it even simpler to share Vision Pro experiences.

• Writing Tools: Writing Tools enable you to edit, summarise and proofread text in Notes, Mail, Pages, and third-party apps, as well as to generate and illustrate original content using Compose. You can express yourself more creatively with Describe Your Change and adjust the text tone using Rewrite.

• Image Playground: Using themes, costumes, accessories and places, as well as your photo bank and descriptions, you can create unique photos. Image Playground is integrated into apps like Messages and Freeform, and is also available as an app for Apple Vision Pro.

• Genmoji: With Genmoji, you can make custom emojis, inspired from photos of friends or family and representing themes and accessories like a hat or sunglasses. You can share them in Messages or as a sticker or sent as Tapback.

• Smart Reply: Smart Reply in Messages and Mail offers quick reply suggestions, identifying questions to offer answers.

• Photos: The Photos app can assist with image editing and create original videos. You can use natural language to search for a photo in your app or even specific times inside video clips. Create a Memory Movie lets you create a movie with a description.

• Other Features Support: visionOS 2.4 also includes support for Priority Messages in Mail, Mail Summaries, Image Wand in Notes, Priority Notifications in Notification Center, and Notification Summaries. 

Spatial Gallery, a new app for Apple Vision Pro, will offer spatial pictures, spatial videos and Apple-curated panoramas. The platform will also give users experiences encompassing art, culture, entertainment, lifestyle, nature, sports and travel, including from Red Bull, Cirque du Soleil, and Porsche upon launch.

The app offers a new way to find spatial experiences, queue apps and games to download, and access Vision Pro information from the iPhone. The Discover page features recommendations for new experiences on the device, while the My Vision Pro page offers users tips and information such as their current visionOS version and device serial number. 

visionOS 2.4 will also allow users to start a Guest User session on Vision Pro with their nearby iPhone or iPad. Users can choose which apps are accessible to their guests and start View Mirroring with AirPlay from their iPhone.
