Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Leaked Release Date, Specifications And Pricing Details

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge could be launched on May 13, according to the latest post by tipster Evan Blass on X.

Earlier reports claimed that the latest product from Samsung could be launched in South Korea and China on May 23, followed by the US and the rest of the worldwide market on May 30. In the build-up to its launch, reports have emerged about its likely specifications and pricing.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC is expected to power the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, coupled with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The phone is expected to run on One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. It could come with a 3,900 mAh battery. Its connectivity features could include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

The phone is likely to come with a 6.7-inch (1,440 x 3,120 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Underlining its slimness, it is expected to weigh 163 g and have a thickness of only 5.85 mm. It could make it the thinnest Galaxy S model ever launched.

It will reportedly feature a titanium frame, with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the top of the screen and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 at the rear. It is expected to have an IP68 rating for protection from dust and water. It could feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to have a dual rear camera system. This will comprise a 200 MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture and an 85-degree field of view, along with a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view. It could feature a 12 MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 80-degree field of view.

It is expected to be available in three colour combinations: Titanium Jet Jetblack, Titanium Icy Blue and Titanium Silver.

In Germany, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge with 256 GB storage is expected to be priced at EUR 1,249, which is about Rs 119,000. The variant with 512 GB could cost EUR 1,369, which is roughly Rs 1,30,000. Pricing along these lines will position the device between the Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
