After the recent launch of the Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 60 Stylus models, Motorola is set to expand the user base for its Edge 60 series in India. The expected specifications of the phone have been reported on several online platforms. Now, a HDR10+ certification site has confirmed the monikers for the Motorola Edge 60 and Motorola Edge 60s.
As per the list on the HDR10+ certification site, the Motorola Edge 60 is expected to launch in India alongside Latin America, China and Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand (EMEA/ANZ).
The list also suggests that the Motorola Edge 60s is meant only for China. The listing does not contain any further information about the models.
The expected features were shared by X user Evan Blass and other media reports recently.
Motorola Edge 60: Features And Specs
Blass’s leak indicated that the Motorola Edge 60 will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. It will be combined with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of memory storage. It is expected to run on Android 15-based Hello UI. The phone could have a 5,200 mAh battery and could come with a 68W charger. The phone is expected to have MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability certification.
The display is expected to have a 6.7-inch 1.5K (2,712x1,220 pixels) pOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. As per the renders shared by the tipster, the model will likely have a curved display.
It is expected to be equipped with a 50 MP rear camera with a Sony Lytia 700C sensor. As per reports, the phone could also have a 50 MP front camera.
It is important to note that Motorola has scheduled a launch event on April 24. Phones expected to be launched by the company on April 24 include the Motorola Edge 60, Razr 60 Ultra and the Motorola Edge 60 Pro. The HDR10+ certification list also includes the moniker for the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra.
