CSK v MI IPL 2025: One of the most anticipated matches of the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League 2025 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will be played this Sunday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
With tickets going on sale on Wednesday, fans are buzzing with excitement.
The tickets for the match will be available to book via two methods. Fans can either flock to the official website of CSK - chennaisuperkings.com, or they may also visit District, the event and activity guide application by Zomato. The tickets will go on sale from 10:15 am on Wednesday.
“The online sale of tickets for the first home game between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in the Tata IPL 2025, to be played on Mar. 23, 2025 (Sunday) at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chepauk, will be from Mar. 19, 2025 (Wednesday) from 10:15 AM through https://www.chennaisuperkings.com," the franchise said in a statement.
"Fans have a huge opportunity to sign up on the Chennai Super Kings website to get access to exclusive content and participate in the quiz contests to stand a chance to win match tickets for CSK's home games,” it added.
Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are the two most successful teams in the IPL having won five titles each.
The Chepauk clash will see two of the most formidable teams in the IPL entering into a thrilling contest. Often referred to as the 'El Clasico' of the T20 league, this highly anticipated match will kick off at 7:30 p.m.

The cheapest ticket is priced at Rs 1,700 (C, D, E Lower). As usual, box tickets are not available to the public, as they are sold separately.
The CSK vs MI clash will be the second match of the season, following the opening encounter where Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
The final will take place more than two months later in Kolkata on May 25. All 10 competing teams will be aiming for the trophy, with matches scheduled across 13 cities of India. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will enter the tournament as the defending champions.
