HCLTech's CEO C Vijayakumar said that the lower end of the revenue guidance range considers potential deterioration in the macroeconomic environment and discretionary spending, while the higher end assumes a stable environment with successful deal closures.
The company's Chief Financial Officer, Shiv Walia, emphasized the focus on delivering stable margins relative to peers, with plans to steer savings from internal programs towards investing in sales, aiming for a higher margin band.
Ramachandran Sundararajan, Chief People Officer, said that the wage hike cycle typically starts from the October quarter, and for FY26, the company will follow its usual cycle.
HCLTech Q4 Results Live: CEO On Trump Tariff Impact
C Vijayakumar, CEO & Managing Director, HCLTech said the company expects to see impact in retail consumer packaged goods manufacturing once Trump tariff is executed.
"One large program was shelved.. Traiffs will spillover to all other verticals accordingly. Strong deal booking is a growth lever. Life sciences and healthcare expected to be soft," he said.

HCLTech's Chief People Officer, Ramachandran Sundararajan, said the company's headcount increased to 2,23,420, with a net addition of 2,665 employees in the quarter.
The company added 1,805 freshers, exceeding its target, in line with its plans. Moreover, attrition has stabilised at 12.5-13%.
HCLTech aimed to upskill 50,000 colleagues in FY25 but surpassed this target, upskilling over 100,000 employees, he said.

HCLTech received $3 billion in new bookings this quarter. The CEO said he is pleased with a healthy deal pipeline which continues to be near all-time high.
"AI, GenAI are integral component of almost every deal. Four flagship AI offerings have seen substantial adoption, scaling in FY25. We are investing significantly in driving agentic solutions," Vijayakumar said.
He also said enterprises will accelerate AI adoption going ahead and expect pricing pressure, new revenue oppotunities emerging from AI.

He also noted that all three geographies grew with income in Americas rising 5.3% and Europe around 3%.
