Hindalco Industries Ltd. is among the key companies slated to announce their Q3 results this week. The company has already informed the bourses about the schedule for the release of its financial statements for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2024. 

Part of the Aditya Birla Group, Hindalco Industries is a metal company engaged in the production of aluminium and copper. The company is among the largest producers of aluminium and copper not just in India but globally. Hindalco's global footprint spans 52 manufacturing units across 10 countries-20 plants in India, and 32 overseas units. Hindalco also operates 23 mines. The company's total market capitalisation is valued at over Rs 1.35 lakh crore.

Hindalco Industries is slated to announce its financial earnings for the quarter and nine months ending Dec. 31, 2024, on Thursday, Feb. 13 following a meeting of its board of directors. 

"A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, inter alia to consider and approve Unaudited Consolidated and Standalone financial results of the Company for the quarter and nine months ending December 31, 2024," the company said in an exchange filing on Dec. 24, 2024.

As per SEBI regulations, the trading window  for dealing in the securities of the company shall remain closed till Feb. 15. The trading window was closed on Jan. 1

Hindalco Industries has scheduled an earnings call to discuss the company's financial performance with investors and analysts on Feb. 14.

"Please be informed that Q3 FY25 Earnings Conference Call of the Company for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024, is scheduled on Friday, February 14, 2024, at 16:00 HRS IST," Hindalco said in a Feb. 4 filing. 

The call will begin with a brief discussion and presentation by the company’s management on Q3 FY25 earnings performance followed by an interactive question & answer session.

Shares of Hindalco Industries Ltd. have shown some consolidation over the past month, gaining over 5% on the National Stock Exchange. The stock has slipped more than 5.5% over the last six months but gained over 2% in a year. Over the past five trading sessions on the NSE, shares of Hindalco Industries have remained nearly flat.

At 1:24 p.m. on Tuesday, shares of Hindalco were trading flat at Rs 594.95 apiece on the NSE, as compared to a 1.33% drop in benchmark NSE Nifty 50.

Hindalco Industries reported robust growth in its net profit for the second quarter of FY25. The Aditya Birla Group company's net profit surged 78% year-on-year to Rs 3,909 crore in Q2 against Rs 2,196 crore in the year-ago period. Revenues grew 7.4% YoY to Rs 58,203 crore against Rs 54,169 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24.

Ebitda jumped 40% to Rs 7,883 crore versus Rs 5,612 crore in Q2 of last financial year. Margins stood at 13.5% versus 10.4%.
