Cyient DLM Q1 Performance
Cyient DLM attributed the profit drop to a less favourable revenue mix and higher input costs during the quarter. However, the company maintained a positive outlook for the rest of the year, highlighting a strong order book and pipeline opportunities. It said that the revenue growth impacted by completion of large order in FY25 offset by addition of revenue from M&A.
The net profit was impacted by amortization of intangibles which is a noncash item and reduced interest income due to IPO proceeds utilization. The material cost ratio improved due to better mix and improved supply chain efforts.
Also, material cost is lower in US operations. The employee cost and other expense increase on an annual basis was due to the inclusion of US operations. Shares of Cyient DLM settled 1.33% higher at Rs 481.20 apiece on the BSE.
