Paytm Introduces Travel Pass: Check Price, Key Benefits And More

Paytm’s parent company One97 Communications Ltd. has launched Paytm Travel Pass, a subscription-based offering that promises enhanced savings for frequent flyers and business travellers. 

The Paytm Travel Pass allows subscribers to get free flight cancellations, travel insurance and discounts for seat bookings. Priced at Rs 1,299, the pass promises discounts of up to Rs 15,200. 

Paytm Travel CEO Vikash Jalan said that the travel pass is set to offer greater financial flexibility and peace of mind to travellers.

“We aim to capture the growing segment of frequent flyers and business travellers by offering cost savings, flexibility, and added travel security. With the Paytm Travel Pass, domestic travellers can benefit from seat discounts, free cancellations, and travel insurance, ensuring greater financial flexibility and peace of mind,” he said.

• Price: The Paytm Travel Pass is priced at Rs 1,299. 

• Discount: Travellers can get a seat discount of Rs 150 for seat selection on domestic flights. The seat discounts can be used up to Rs 15,200.

• Complimentary Benefits: This includes free domestic flight cancellations, and travel insurance for coverage against flight delays, loss of baggage, and unexpected disruptions. The benefits can be used up to four times. 

• Validity: The travel pass comes with a validity of three months.

• Open the Paytm app on your phone.

• On the home screen, tap on “Flight, Bus & Train”.

• Tap on “Travel Pass”.

• Tap on “Get Travel Pass for Rs 1,299” and finish the payment to activate the subscription.

The travel pass will be activated automatically once you complete the transaction.

• Open the Paytm app.

• On the home screen, tap on “Flight, Bus & Train”.

• Under the “Flights” section, enter the details of your travel schedule and search for flights.

• Select your desired flight and tap on “Proceed”.

• The travel pass benefits, such as free cancellation of flights and travel insurance, will be automatically applied.

• You have to enter the necessary details and finish the payment to complete the redemption.
