Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi on Saturday, connecting routes across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Kerala, and Karnataka to heritage sites, economic centers, and pilgrimage hubs.
The launch of the latest set of Vande Bharat trains marks a key step in improving regional connectivity and providing faster, more comfortable travel options for passengers on Lucknow-Saharanpur, Banaras-Khajuraho, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes.
Indian Railways highlighted the benefits of the Lucknow-Saharanpur link, which will help connect the major educational and industrial hubs in Lucknow, Bareilly, and Moradabad. This train will also offer a convenient travel option to one of India's major pilgrimage cities, Haridwar.

The Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express will cut travel time by approximately 40 minutes compared to the existing special trains.
The 534km journey of the Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat will bring travel time down to 7 hours 45 minutes. The train will depart early morning from Lucknow and will make six halts before reaching Saharanpur in the afternoon. The train will run six days a week (except Monday)
26504 Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express Timetable
Train Number 26504 will start from Lucknow Junction at 5:00 a.m. and will halt at Sitapur Jn, Shahjahanpur Jn, Bareilly Jn, Moradabad Jn, Najibabad Jn, and Roorkee before reaching Saharanpur at 12:45 p.m.
26503 Saharanpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express Timetable
Train Number 26503 will start from Saharanpur at 3:00 p.m. and will halt at Roorkee, Najibabad Jn, Moradabad Jn, Bareilly Jn, Shahjahanpur Jn and Sitapur Jn before reaching Lucknow Junction at 11:00 p.m.
