Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. saw its shares soar nearly 15%, reaching a 10-month high following the announcement of its fourth-quarter results for the fiscal year 2025.

The scrip rose as much as 14.89% to Rs 2,200 apiece.

Stock Market Live: Tata Motors Share Price Tumbles After Analysts Flag Concern Over JLR Growth

Tata Motors share price declined 3.07% to Rs 686.00 apiece, the lowest level since May 9. It was trading 1.73% down at Rs 707.50 apiece as of 9:51 a.m., as compared to 0.50% advance in the NSE Nifty 50 index.

The current financial year 2026 is likely to be tough for Tata Motors' Jaguar Land Rover segment, according to Jefferies. The brokerage maintained 'Underperform' rating on the stock while it hiked the target price to Rs 630 from Rs 625.

MSCI Rejig: Coromandel International, Nykaa Parent FSN E-Commerce Added In May 2025 Rebalancing

Coromandel International Ltd. and FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd., the operator of e-commerce platform Nykaa, have been added to the MSCI Global Standard Index as part of MSCI’s May 2025 semi-annual review, according to a statement early on Wednesday. The changes will take effect after market close on May 30. There were no deletions from the index.

Oil Prices Fall On Supply-side Worries

Crude oil futures declined as supply worries weighed on investors' mind following US President Donald Trump's recent remarks on Iranian oil exports. In a visit to Saudi Arabia, Trump said that the US will put maximum pressure on Iranian exports unless an agreement is reached on Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies' nuclear program.

Brent crude future was down 0.66% at $66.19 a barrel as of 8:12 a.m.

Asia Market Update: Most Markets Trade In Red

The GIFT Nifty was trading flat at 24,792.50 as of 6:52 a.m., which implied over 200 points higher start for Nifty 50 against the index's Tuesday close.

Investors will monitor Bharti Airtel Ltd., Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd., ITD Cementation Ltd., Siemens, and Tat motors Ltd. share prices as they have released their fourth quarter results post market hours Tuesday.

Sensex and Nifty 50 ended the day with losses on Tuesday's trading session. Nifty 50 ended 1.39% lower at 24,578.35 and Sensex closed down 1.55% at 81,148.22.
