Tata, Infosys, HDFC, LIC & More — Check List Of Most Valuable Indian Brands In 2025

The Tata Group, Infosys Ltd., HDFC Group and LIC Group are some of India's most valuable brands this year, as per a report.

Tata's brand value has risen 10% to $31.6 billion and continues to maintain its lead as the most valuable brand in the country, according to an annual report from Brand Finance India.

The group’s consistent brand value growth is rooted in its strategic financial discipline, expansive consumer products portfolio, and relentless technological advancement, the report said.

Infosys' brand value surged 15% to $16.3 billion and HDFC Group by 37% to $14.2 billion.

LIC Group, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Group, SBI Group, HCLTech Ltd., Adani Group, Bharti Airtel, Larsen & Toubro Group, and Mahindra Group are listed among the top Indian brands.

The collective brand value of the top 100 Indian brands ranked stood at $236.5 billion in 2025. A number of leading brands from India are expanding their strategic horizons, exploring and establishing a global outlook towards business growth, the report said.

"For a long time, the flagbearers of Brand India have been Tata, Infosys, Taj, Mahindra, HCL Tech, MRF, Hindalco, Airtel, Amul and other leading names," said Ajimon Francis, managing director at Brand Finance India.

"Now, we witness the emergence of ambitious brands like L&T, Persistent Systems, JSW, Indian Oil, Adani, Hexaware and Dixon, punching above their weight and featuring regularly as rising brands in Brand Finance’s global rankings," he said.

The Brand Finance report also highlighted that the Adani Group's brand value has risen by a solid 82% to $6.5 billion, making it the fastest-growing Indian brand ranked in 2025, climbing from 16th place in 2024 to 13th in 2025.

"This meteoric rise is underpinned by its strong financial performance across core sectors, notably infrastructure, energy, ports and logistics and renewables," the report said.

The report also noted companies like Zomato, Birla Opus, HPCL Mittal Energy and Persistent Systems whose brand value has the potential to make a big mark.

In terms of brand strength, the Tata Group's Taj retained its position as India’s strongest brand for the fourth consecutive year. It was followed by Asian Paints, Amul, Hero, Tanishq and Maruti Suzuki.
