Ola Electric Starts Deliveries For S1 Gen 3 Scooter

Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. announced on Saturday the commencement of deliveries for its S1 Gen 3 scooter portfolio across India.

The S1 Gen 3 portfolio, which includes the flagship S1 Pro+ along with S1 Pro and S1 X, is being delivered through its extensive network of Ola Electric stores and direct to home delivery services, according to an exchange filing.

The S1 X Gen 3 is available in four variants, including S1 X+ (4kWh) and S1 X (4kWh, 3kWh, and 2kWh). The Gen 3 range starts at Rs 79,999 for S1 X (2kWh) and goes up to Rs 1,69,999 for the S1 Pro+ 5.3kWh (with 4,680 Bharat Cell), it said.

Over the Gen 2, Gen 3 platform offers a 20% increase in peak power, 11% reduction in cost and a 20% increase in range, according to the filing.

Shares of Ola Electric closed 8.43% higher at Rs 56.07 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, compared to a 0.69% advance in the benchmark Nifty.
