Vivo X Fold5 5G Launched In India; Rivals iPhone in Price: Check Top Features

Vivo has launched its premium foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold5 5G, now available on its website and e-commerce sites Flipkart and Amazon. Featuring 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, the premium smartphone model beats the price of several high-end iPhones.

Launched on July 14, the phone is priced at Rs 1,49,999 after a 6% special discount on Flipkart and Amazon. The platforms are also offering additional bank offers, which brings down the price of Vivo X Fold5 5G even lower.

Available in Titanium Gray colour, it boasts a large 20.4 cm (8.03 inch) foldable display. The smartphone is expected to attract users interested in media consumption and gaming.

Vivo X Fold5 5G’s camera setup includes three 50MP sensors and a 20MP front camera for sharp images. The upcoming iPhone 17 series, set for launch in September, is also reportedly introducing a 24MP front camera. Vivo X Fold5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 6,000 mAh battery.

For a premium experience, Vivo has introduced several top-tier features to the model. This includes a telephoto camera lens on rear, impressive display with 5000 nits peak brightness and strong built quality. The phone is made with '2nd Gen Armor Architecture' and is rated IPX8/IPX9 for dust and water resistance. It has a 'Carbon Fiber Support Hinge' that is aimed at improved folding with fewer creases and enhanced strength.

The user interface is also designed for seamless experience with flexible layouts offered through ‘Origin Workbench’ primary app window in addition to four other windows.
