Upcoming Smartphone Launches In July: Nothing Phone 3, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, OnePlus Nord 5, And More

The coming month will see a host of smartphone launches in India from a host of brands including Nothing, Samsung, OnePlus, and Vivo. Here’s a closer look at smartphone launches in July.

Nothing Phone 3 (July 1)

The Nothing Phone 3 will have a new design language — Glyph Matrix — which will replace the Glyph Interface. The device is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 5,150mAh battery, a 6.77-inch LTPO Amoled display, and 50MP primary rear and front cameras. It will have five years of Android and seven years of security updates.

OnePlus Nord 5 (July 8)

The OnePlus Nord 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and likely feature a 6,700mAh battery, 7300mm² vapour chamber, 144 FPS for smooth gaming, 6.83-inch Amoled display, and 50MP main and 50MP front cameras.

OnePlus Nord 5 CE (July 8)

The Nord 5 CE is tipped to get the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, 7,100mAh cell, 6.77-inch Amoled screen, and 50MP main camera with 16MP selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 (July 9)

Samsung’s “thinnest and lightest” foldable phone could measure 158.4 mm x 143.1 mm x 3.9 mm in its unfolded state. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 may sport a new 200MP primary camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 8.2-inch Amoled (primary) and 6.5-inch Amoled (cover) displays, 4,400mAh battery, and powerful AI features.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 (July 9)

While only minor changes are expected over its predecessor Flip 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may get a bigger 4-inch Super AMOLED cover display and a larger 4,300mAh cell. It could be powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM as standard.

Vivo X Fold 5 (Mid-July)

The Vivo X Fold 5 could be one of the thinnest foldables, with a rumoured folded profile of 9.33mm and only 4.3mm whenn unfolded. Expected specs include Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 6.53-inch LTPO outer display and 8.03-inch 2K+ Amoled main display, 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP telescope, and 32MP selfie shooters on both displays, along with a 6,000mAh cell.

Vivo X200 FE (July; Date Unknown)

The Vivo X200 FE, which already saw a Taiwan launch, is a rebranded avatar of S30 Pro Mini. Its specs include MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, 6,500mAh cell, 6.31-inch 1.5K Amoled screen, and a camera set comprising 50MP Sony IMX921 main, 8MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto, along with 50MP selfie shooter.
