South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming models: Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The event is scheduled to be held on July 9 at 7:30 p.m. (IST).
Alongside the new smartphones, the company will also introduce the Galaxy Buds Core and Galaxy Watch 8. Amid the buzz for the new Samsung launches, the Korean consumer electronics giant has also opened pre-reservations for its upcoming launch so that users can secure their purchases.
Interested buyers can reserve their Samsung devices by paying just Rs 1,999. To be able to pre-book, the potential customers will need to visit Samsung’s official website. Pre-reservation services are also available through Amazon, Flipkart and Samsung Exclusive Stores.
Those who pre-reserve may get early shipping and exclusive benefits before the devices become available in stores.
According to Samsung, customers who pre-reserve the upcoming Galaxy devices can receive benefits worth up to Rs 5,999. However, the company has not disclosed the exact details or names of the bonus products. These perks may likely be kept secret until the official launch.
With the new launch, users can expect improved performance, enhanced cameras and increased artificial intelligence integration in Samsung devices. Samsung’s Galaxy AI is expected to power these devices, enhancing not just device capabilities but also user interaction and overall experience.
There has also been some buzz around the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, as Samsung may surprise consumers with competitive launch prices. A WinFuture report suggests the Fold 7 could maintain last year’s pricing, while the Flip 7 might debut at a lower cost than its predecessor. This move could attract more buyers and boost early sales. Whether Samsung will maintain this strategy in India will be closely watched at the launch event. Last year, the Z Fold 6 was launched at €1,999 (Rs 2 lakh) for the 256GB variant in Europe.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 may launch in India at around Rs 1,43,000, according to reports.
