Nothing Phone 3a: Launch Date, Camera, Display, Battery Storage; Check Surprise Too

Nothing is likely set for a big announcement in the smartphone market and it is likely to do a first too. Reports suggest that the company will introduce not just one, but two new smartphones on March 4. It is being reported that Nothing, known for its standout designs, will soon release the Nothing Phone 3a - the successor to the Phone 2a. But wait, that's not all! There is a surprise smartphone in-the-works likely too. 

Nothing may also release the 'Nothing Phone 3a Pro', which will become the first 'Pro' smartphone from the company. Earlier reports had stated that Nothing plans to launch as many as three smartphones before Nothing Phone 3 later this year.

According to a report by Android Headlines, the event will not only introduce the Nothing Phone 3a, but also its premium sibling, the Phone 3a Pro. While some earlier leaks suggested that there would be a ‘Plus’ model now it seems that the ‘Pro’ variant will actually be the big bang announcement. Notably, even Apple is thinking about dropping its 'Plus' phones. However, Samsung has recently launched its own Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus variant.

The leaks are also suggesting that the Nothing Phone 3a will come in two variants- 8GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM with 256GB storage. Even as Nothing focusses a lot on design, the same does not carry on to colors. The phone will be available in black and white colors.

The Nothing Phone 3a Pro may have a single 128GB+256GB variant and it will likely be coming in grey.

The tagline of the event is “Power in Perspective,” and the teaser points out a feature called the signature Glyph interface around the vertically stacked dual camera rings.

Leaks suggest that the Nothing Phone 3a could feature a 6.8-inch full HD+ AMOLED display and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone might be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Talking of camera, the Phone 3a might have a triple-lens setup, that may include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. For the fans of selfies and video calls, a 32MP front camera is widely expected.

Considering the fuel-hungry hardware, the smartphone may pack a 5000mAh battery. It will likely be backed by a 45W fast charging for al those people who are constantly in a hurry. Also, it can support NFC connectivity.

With just weeks to go, you will not have to wait long to know what Nothing has in its mind regarding the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro.
