Motorola Teases New Smartphone Launch In India — It Could Be This Model

Smartphone maker Motorola has teased a new phone launch in India and it could be the upcoming model G96 5G. The company has shared a teaser poster on e-commerce website Flipkart, featuring its latest model in multiple colours. The Flipkart teaser hints at features like a quad-curve display and dual rear cameras.

Motorola has also hinted at some of the features expected in the device. While no details about the launch have been shared yet, it is expected to be released next month, multiple media reports indicated.

Its rear camera setup is vertically aligned in two separate circular modules. The back panel appears to have a vegan leather finish, adding a premium touch to the new Motorola phone. The phone may come in four colours: Green, Blue, Pink, and Teal Blue.

Though details about the Motorola G96 5G are limited, the leaks suggest this could be a stylish and capable mid-range 5G smartphone.

Rumours suggest the Motorola G96 5G will feature a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colour support. It may be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, not the newer Gen 3. The phone is expected to include a 50 MP Sony Lytia LYT-700C main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 32 MP front camera is also likely in the model.

Moreover, it could offer stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Additional features include a 5,500 mAh battery and 68W fast charging for long-lasting performance.

The phone is likely to be IP68-rated for dust and water resistance, providing enhanced durability.

The Moto G96 5G is rumoured to be priced at about Rs 22,990 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
