Made By Google Event On Aug. 20: Pixel 10, Pixel Watch 4 And More Expected

Google has revealed the date for its next "Made by Google" event. The much-anticipated event is scheduled to be held on Aug. 20.

It is expected that the US tech giant will unveil the Pixel 10 lineup and the Pixel Watch 4 at this year’s “Made by Google” event scheduled to take place in New York City.

Google has sent out invitations for its upcoming event. However, the invitation doesn’t mention the names of the gadgets to be released.

As per the invitation sent out on Wednesday, Google will show off “the latest on our Pixel phones, watches, buds, and more”, The Verge reported.

The event will be held in New York City at 1 p.m. ET (10:30 p.m. IST).

The August timeline for the event aligns with Google’s last year’s early release schedule. That suggests the Pixel 10 series is coming soon.

At the event, Google may launch Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL and 10 Pro Fold. While Pixel 9a came with a horizontal camera bar, Pixel 10 may not follow the same design. However, all Pixel 10 series are expected to keep a familiar camera design.

According to a Tom’s Guide report, the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro are expected to feature 6.3-inch displays, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL could offer a larger 6.8-inch screen. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold may include an 8-inch inner display along with a 6.4-inch cover screen.

Moreover, the Pixel 10 series is likely to debut with Android 16 and powered by Google’s custom Tensor G5 chipset for enhanced performance.

In addition to the smartphone lineup, Google is expected to launch the Pixel Watch 4.

Not a lot is known about the upcoming Pixel Watch 4, but leaks indicate a design similar to the Watch 3. The new Pixel Watch 4 could be slightly thicker at 14.3mm, compared to the Pixel Watch 3’s 12.3mm. It may also come in two sizes, with slightly slimmer bezels than before.

According to leaks, the Watch 4’s renders have not been spotted with any charging pins. This indicates wireless charging support in Pixel Watch 4, marking a significant upgrade over earlier models.

Google may also unveil other products at the August event, but details are yet to emerge.
