iPhone SE 4 Price: What is Apple Up To? Big Mark Gurman Revelation; You May Not Like It

And now, Bloomberg columnist, Mark Gurman has made a big revelation that may not make fans happy.

Sure, it could boast a new design, naming, and some high-end features—offering great value—but the new iPhone SE 4 might not be as affordable as before. With iPhone SE 4 price one of the biggest drivers of rumors, anything coming from reliable analysts, is seriously looked after. And now, Bloomberg columnist, Mark Gurman has made a big revelation that may not make fans happy.

They have been expecting an iPhone that is affordable, but it may be anything but that. “You can bet that Apple will raise the price a bit,” said Mark Gurman of Bloomberg in his recent Power On Newsletter. 

The iPhone SE 4’s price could see a bump over the 2022 model, which cost $429 (around Rs. 37,000). Gurman noted that the price will be hiked “perhaps to something closer to $500” (over Rs. 43,000; this could go up based on where the phone is manufactured and applicable taxes).

Gurman has probably never set the price so accurately before. But there are way too many upgrades this time around to maintain the low pricing of the SE, which by principle had been a low-priced iPhone.

The anticipated price hike follows a slew of leaks and reports about the massive upgrades the iPhone SE 4 is expected to get. These include:

A17 Pro or A18 Bionic chip: The phone might be powered by the most recent A17 Pro or A18 Bionic chip, making it one of the fastest and most powerful phones in its class.

Advanced 48MP Camera: The iPhone SE 4 will probably have a single 48MP primary camera, compared to the 12MP on the iPhone SE (2022). 

New Design: The iPhone SE 4 will look similar to the iPhone 14 and may include a single back camera at the top left with an LED flash.

Face ID: Face ID, a first for the SE line, may be included in the iPhone SE 4.

In-House 5G Modem: The phone will likely have the Apple-developed 5G modem. 

Larger Battery: The iPhone SE 4 may house a bigger battery and support USB Type-C charging.

Apple Intelligence: The most affordable iPhone with Apple Intelligence will help users enjoy features such as Writing Tools, Image Playground, and upgraded Siri.

Better RAM/Storage: In addition to 128GB of storage, it might get an upgrade from 4GB to 8GB of RAM to better manage Apple Intelligence and demanding apps.
