Google Pixel 9a Launch Date Revealed? Check the Latest Leak, Price, Camera Design, Battery

And now, the company has grabbed eyeballs as it may well launch the Google Pixel 9a smartphone earlier than expected, if the latest leak is to be believed.

And now, the company has grabbed eyeballs as it may well launch the Google Pixel 9a smartphone earlier than expected, if the latest leak is to be believed.

The latest Google Pixel smartphone was expected to launch in May, as usual, but the device may hit the market in mid-March and that too at Google I/O event. Notably, Pixel 9 series launch went along the same lines as it was moved up to August from October in 2024.

According to a report by Android Headlines, pre-orders for the Pixel 9a will start from March 19, with shipping and in-store purchases starting March 26.

And as far as Google Pixel 9a price is concerned, it may well debut at $499 in the US for the 128GB model, whereas the 256GB variant will cost around $599.

One of the major changes expected in the upcoming Google smartphone is the absence of the traditional camera bar. And that is a rarity in this age when these bumps are getting bigger and bigger as the camera performances get boosted to unheard of levels. In fact, Google looks to be going ahead with a completely flat back or just a tiny bump.

The reason may well be to fit a much larger 5100mAh battery- the biggest ever in a Pixel device. Notably, the capacity even beats the previous Pixel 9 Pro XL, which offered a 5060mAh battery.

That may also point towards the Pixel 9a being wider and perhaps taller than the Pixel 8a. Expectations are that it will pack a 6.28-inch display.

The smartphone may be available in Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Iris (blue), and Peony (pink), according to the AH report.

With a new design, bigger battery, and early release for the Pixel 9a smartphone, Google is filling fans with excitement by offering some great mid-range specs and features.
