Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Design Revealed In New Renders Ahead Of Launch

The renders, shared by Android Headlines in partnership with tipster OnLeaks, indicate that Google has kept the core design of last year's model. This includes the camera module and overall form factor. 

The camera setup appears to be the same size, suggesting that the sensor specifications may remain unchanged. The images showcase a familiar design language, with a cream colour option likely to be marketed as the same Porcelain shade from the previous model. The device is also expected to feature the 48-megapixel rear camera from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

That said, a few subtle changes set it apart:

• The SIM card slot is now at the top, similar to the Pixel 9a and the rumoured Pixel 10.

• New symmetrical cutouts on the left edge may serve as antenna bands or signal boosters. They align with the USB-C port on the bottom.

• The reported dimensions stand at 155.2 x 150.4 x 5.3mm, a slight increase over last year’s model. Sources say that minor variations (around 0.1-0.3mm) may exist.

• The device is expected to be slightly thinner, though not as slim as competitors like the Honor Magic V3 or OPPO Find N5.

Codenamed Rango, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is set to feature Google's Tensor G5 chip, built by TSMC, ensuring better performance and efficiency. 

It is expected to retain 16GB RAM with storage options of 256GB and 512GB.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to launch in August, alongside the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL, during Google's Made by Google event.

Google may lower the price of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, going against the industry trend of rising foldable phone prices. If true, this could make it a strong competitor in the premium foldable market. However, an official word on the pricing is still awaited from Google.
